Assessment of Compliance with the "DNSH" principle: our new service

¡Exciting news! We are pleased to announce that now, from our sustainability department, we offer DNSH "Do Not Significant Harm" Compliance Assessment reporting services.

WHAT’S THE DNSH REPORT?

In accordance with the standards set out in the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (MRR), it should be ensured that each of the measures included in the recovery and resilience plan complies with the DNSH principle, which means they must not cause significant harm.

This DNSH principle is based on the Sustainable Investments Regulation and aims to ensure that all actions carried out within the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) comply with the principle of not causing significant harm to the six environmental objectives set out in Article 17 of Regulation 2020/852.

In summary, a DNSH report assesses the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of a project and ensures that these impacts are not significant. This assessment is crucial to ensure that EU-funded projects are sustainable and respect the environment, human rights and European values.

As an example of our work in this field, we recently produced a DNSH report for the company 2Freedom (www.2freedom.net), which aims to optimize, research and development of four videogram scanner products. With our detailed assessment, we were able to identify potential risks and preventive measures, which allowed 2Freedom to comply with EU requirements and move its project forward in a sustainable manner.

In general, we believe that our experience and knowledge in DNSH reporting will be of great value to any project or action being implemented within the PRTR in the future.
