The association MAVEX (Women lovers of wine of Extremadura) launches the first edition of the MAVEX XXI Forum: The women of wine, which will take place in the city of Almendralejo during the next 12 and 13 November, to promote the wine culture in Extremadura and highlight the fundamental role played by women in the different areas of the wine sector.
In a clear commitment against climate change, the MAVEX association has promoted the calculation of the carbon footprint of the I MAVEX Forum. 360 Soluciones Climático, partner of MAVEX, will calculate the greenhouse gas emissions of the event, which will be held at the Almendralejo Wine Museum. The organizers have already implemented some emission reduction measures to promote the use of shared transport for many of the speakers, use of recyclable materials in tastings, etc. Hoping that it will be the first of many editions and with the aim of avoiding as much as possible the greenhouse gas emissions of the event, wine women are clearly protagonists in the transition to sustainable development.
